Has anyone used "Piano Tuner" Ver. 1.3 for the Mac?
If so, how does it compare to "Tunelab".

I appreciate all responses.

You can try TuneLab for free:

I've used it extensively, and find it very helpful. The pitch raise feature makes me money every time I use it (by saving time).

I've never heard of the Mac program.

At this point, the Mac program appears to compare to the peterson auto-strobe. While flexable, it doesn't have any way of calculating to any particular piano via measuring inharmonicity. It can act as a template-tuner, using a pre-determined stretch to estimate a tuning of other pianos. From looking at the site, it seemed to only listen to the fundamental pitch of a note - not usually the best overtone to choose throughout the scale of the piano.
If you are able to work with either Mac or windoze, a better bet would be the Tunelab97, the precurser to TunelabPro, if you are trying to save money. Though not as user-friendly as TLpro, it is still a full-function tuner, and there is a plug-in type program to take inharmonicity information from the piano to calculate a tuning.
