I'm not sure where to post this so i'm playing it safe. I play an instrument, called bandura. I am looking for songs I can play that are heavy on the right hand but light on the left because of the nature of the bandura. Songs similar to moonlight sonata that have only one or two notes at half second intervals on the left hand, I can play pretty fast on the right hand so that isn't a problem. Any suggestions?

Hey Kobzar, you'll have better luck if you post this in the Pianist Corner or Nonclassical Forum, depending on what kind of m usi you're wanting to play.

p.s. What's a bandura?

Are you sure no one in those forums will get angry at me?

The Bandura is the national Ukrainian instrument, here's a picture of the type I play called "concertova" http://home.att.net/~bandura.ca/Bandura-OlaH/Shevchenbra.JPG note the levers on the right side which are used to drop or raise every string on the instrument so that you don't need to retune it to play complicated pieces.

You hold the Bandura like the kid in this picture http://www.artukraine.com/kobzars/images/band03_b.jpg and as you can see you don't look at your left hand, ever, and you can only play one (maybe two) notes at a time which is why i'm in the perdicament.

P.S. yes I know that 65 strings area lot to tune.
