Does anyone know of any similar websites for clarinet or any good sources for clarinet info? I am starting the search for a teacher for my 11-year-old son, who has been playing piano for a few years, and would like to start a second instrument. We live in Southern California and I have already called all of the local colleges and haven't gotten any good leads.

Kathleen,

Try this one:
http://www.sneezy.org/clarinet/

Then click on the "Bulletin Board" link. My son plays the clarinet, so I get a lot of info from this board. I don't post, I just read. They're a pretty friendly and knowledgable bunch.

Mike
