I agree...the rite of spring. It is clearly a masterpiece that was miscredited at its first exposure. I'm a die-hard stravinsky fan, so it would definately have to be a stravinsky piece-and what better is it when it is his most famous and trademarked, rite of spring?
I also love other russian composers, so anything within the boudaries of rachmaninov, prokofiev, and shostakovich would be great..

I'd need a time machine, though. Because I'd want to do it with the 1989 Chicago Symphony.

I'd also consider an all American concert with the New York Philharmonic, featuring:

Barber's 2nd Essay
Danielpour's Concerto for Orchestra
Copland's 3rd Symphony.

Now that I think of it, I wouldn't mind conducting Shostakovich's 10th symphony. Maybe with the LSO.
