Not possible, as there's nothing really wrong with it. Digital pianos are inherently "thunky". So are acoustic pianos but you don't notice it because they are always producing sound.

Les nailed it. Acoustics can make mechanical noise too, its just typically softer then the tone output. Although I've heard exceptions...
