I am looking for a Yamaha CLP 170 . What is the best price that I can pay for this piano.

Is it possible to buy this item online, if so which website?

I will appreciate an early response . This is for a purchase in US.

Dealman,

It is my understanding that no Yamaha Clavinova digital pianos can be purchased online here in the US. Authorized dealers risk their appointment is they do so. Other Yamaha digital pianos (non-"Clavinova") are available through their guitar/amp/drum dealers, which are allowed to advertise and market on-line.

We have all seen new Clavinova pianos offer on-line by other countries. But they will have no UL-approval nor will they come with a Yamaha factory warranty.

The CLP 170 has now been discontinued. There are a few around here and there. But Yamaha has no more remaining. So, you must hope a local dealer has in-stock availability. If you were in New England, I could help you.

Hi Paul,

I am also interested in the CLP-170 and am in the New England area. Please contact me at dbryant@mail.nysed gov and provide further information. Thanks.

If you live in the Bay Area, you're outta luck because the last one sold about 2 weeks ago. It would have been nice to pick a polished ebony 170 since the 270 doesn't offer that option anymore...

Eliwood, I've seen a polished ebony 270 in person, it may be that it's a special order or something, though since I know it's not in the catalog.
