I tried out a $1K Europiano the other day, and thought I would relay my thoughts on the piano

At about half the price of other pianos, you would expect to give up something, and I think that is basically how the piano is designed ... you give up something on nearly every feature.

The feature set and design is identical to a Yamaha P120, but in console with three pedals. The pedals are on/off switches. The key feel is a bit leaden, but better than, say, Casio pianos. The sounds appear to have only about half the sample points of a Yamaha; the key sensitivity is about half that of a Yamaha.

All in all, this would be an OK piano for a rock group (though it's designed for a living room ... it's a console) where guitars ruled.
