I'm still looking for my ideal in dp's world, and none of Yamaha/Roland products fits my needs. I play many gigs and I often carry my instrument it has to be light. So I'm looking forward for the most fresh news in dp's - is there any website which delivers it to us, pianists?

What are my needs? I need a 76 full-weighted highest quality key with many various sounds, specially grand pianos, eletric pianos etc., some organ sounds, pads, some synth-made sounds. It should have the best sounds possible, and be light - not more than 16-17 kg. Of course I can buy Clavia Nord Stage 76, it has great sounds, but it has two disadvantages (form my point of view):

1. It's red - personally I like it, but I play in many situations when I need more "classical" look: some black or partly silver instrument
2. It has many features I woulnd't use - synth section (I'm interested only in presets) and organ sections (I would use about a quarter of functions). So If it's a litlle bit expensive, it is lost of money to buy something you don't use.

Or maybe you know some full weighted 76-dp's I would be interested too?

Specially, I'm looking for webiste where I can find what will be in shops in the future.

Maybe it's a secret? For example, if somebody wants to buy 700SX, and have information, that 700GX will appear, he will not buy it. Am I right?

A good website for news like that is Harmony Central .

Generally most new products are released at the big summer and winter NAMM shows each year.

You'll see Clavia have just released the new updated Nord Stage EX versions, but they're still bright red!

Yes, they trully are red \:\)

Thanks for website, should be helpful. I see everywhere there is only information about what is released already, about the future - silence.

I think the Nord Stage, from reading reviews of it, seems to be a mixed bag. I'd be interested to see if the Stage EX addresses concerns about the quality of the keyboard and (some) people's dislike of the piano sounds.

To me it seems an expensive option if you aren't going to use many of the features and if there are any doubts about it delivering what you want in terms of keyboard feel and piano sound.

I've heard that Roland 700GX or Yamaha CP-300 have better piano sounds, but is the difference so big?

I think you have to use your own judgement - I've probably read as many complaints about the Roland 700GX / SX as I have about the Nord Stage. It's a fair chunk of money to lay out without trying it out in person.
