After a lot of researching on this forum for the best bang for buck piano, I have decided to get a Casio PX-110.
Quick question, I want to download two track Midi files I have to the keyboard, I already have a Usb to Midi Interface unit.
Is this possible, and if so how!
If I can actually download the file to the piano, can I then turn off one or the other tracks like the demo Tunes for practising?

Sorry, but as far as I know you won't be able to just upload the midi files into your piano and use them as the built in files.

Also - the MIDI format doesn't specify left/right hands so the PX110 wouldn't know which notes to mute.

The good news is there is software out there, that will let you do exactly what you want to do. The first one that comes to my mind is Smartscore (Piano Edition) - which basically allows you to take a piano sheet and scan it into your computer. The software can then playback the score on your piano, through your MIDI connection. And since you'd be using a score - you can tell the software do mute either Treble or Bass Clef. The software is just $99, but there is a learning curve especially if you're not too computer savvy.

That is available on the PX310, but not on the PX110.
