My rig is pretty close to done! http://shazware.com/pic/070609rig.html I'll migrate the info to http://shazware.com/piano/rig.html soon. Still gotta chop the mousepad, wrap the wires, connect the PCR-800 and a buncha other stuff. And the 2 bigger-ish steps of making the "sliding sheetmusic/monitor thingy" and "desktop cover" for when it transforms into "computer programmer" mode... Did my first real piano practice on it last night! Pretty slick. Oh yeah, and my daughter got a cute little puppy. Buuuut, she's no so great at turning on the flash. http://shazware.com/pic/070610puppy.html So cuuuute. But I'm not gonna walk that thing for her until she gets a decent leash. It's pink ...SteveH

Sweet! Looks great, Steve. One suggestion... I battled with a mouse for a while and finally got rid of it in favor of a Logitech Trackman Wheel. It takes up much less real estate... photo below. And since my last photos, I upgraded from the KRK RP5 monitors to the RP8. Cheers! Steve

I think I've got JUST enough real estate for the mouse. It's one of those optical ones and moves fast and precisely. I'm stickin with it for now. If i get annoyed, out it goes I'm hoping to find something cheaper and easier than a mixer to swap between family desktop, MY desktop and my DP... Time to boot up another "what are you guys doin" thread...:/ This thing is really shaping up pretty well. Close call with my speakers. They JUST BARELY fit - whew. They'll probably get swapped for some monitors and extensions to the top shelf someday. Catcha l8r, Steve. ...Steve

Wellll, i don't really know. It's a "westy" or somethin like that? I dunno. My daughter paid WAY too much for it and made her boyfriend pay for it by pouting. I'm NOT real happy with the dog's origin. (Well, my daugher's method.) But i had a micro-dog as a kid, too. And i like it quite a lot. Hope my wife can stand it. She's not big on the yappin n smell n mess and all that... Aaaaaaaaaaanywayyyy...

Of course, 'round these parts, one might expect a Yorkey. Cheers from Isla de Camano, Steve

The Trackman Marble is the best thing that has happened to computer input since the mouse. I really have no clue why the Trackman hasn't completely replaced mice. I've been using one for the past 7 years and they've only gotten better. Felt weird for 1 week, but once I got accustomed to the feel it became a must-have for every computer I use.
I guess this is slightly off-topic, but I think the Trackman is the only item I'm even slightly fanboy-biased towards.
P.S. Cute puppy, LOL.
