Hello

I am thinking of buying a digital piano, but I want to make sure I get the right one.

I'm looking for a digital piano that focuses on portability. It doesn't need to be incredibly small, but I want to be able to toss it in the car (not literally) without much work. I also want it to have touch sensitivity, and, of course, reasonable sound quality.

Multiple instruments and recording abilities are nice, but not a requirements.

I have been playing piano for 6-7 years. I mainly use P/V/C arrangements to improvise. I feel that a less than 61 key keyboard wouldn't be ideal, but you could play this type of thing from it at my skill level (am I misinformed?).

One last thing: my preferable budget is $150 or less. I have seen several pianos, namely from Yamaha and Caiso, for this price and I wonder if they are any good.

Does such a piano like the once I've described above exist? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Andromeda

no digital pianos exist in such a price range, but you might find a used one several years old on eBay or something. with $150, you at best would be able to get a new keyboard without 'weighted keys'.

roll-up piano is just a toy, rubber made sort of according to someone who played it. so, don't even think about it.
