OP Raven_ Junior Member R Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 6 Montreal	Hi, The CLP-340 is the new replacement for the CLP-240 and offers new synthetic ivory keys. My local sales guy told me both still have the same specs expect for some slight design changes. So, the CLP-240 still seems like a solid choice or is the 340 any better? Thanks Raven

signa 8000 Post Club Member Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,483 Ohio, USA	CLP340 and 240 differences: 340: 4 level dynamic sampling, pure CF sampling (new), GH3 with synthetic ivory keytops, IDC LAN port 240: 3 level dynamic sampling, GH3 surely, 340 is better, but it also costs more.

They had CVP models right next to it and I must say the CVP models do get my attention. I love having all the ensemble instruments and large display but its much more expensive At least the 340 can connect to a laptop and music software so I should be able to create some kind of ensemble with it no?
