someone is selling me this piano and i think its about 8 years old and in good condition for $250. Would this be a good deal? I'm about to take a piano lesson soon and I dont want to spend more than $1000. I saw a good price for a casio ap-45 which is about $1000. I'm also leaning on yamaha p-120s.
thanks

8 year old might be too old to consider. maybe that's why it's cheap. i'd rather get a p120.

According to a Yamaha website (see link below) the CLP-250 was introduced in 1988, so it's about 17 years old. It also has 76 keys. I agree with Signa; I'd get a P120.

There is also the new P140 that is replacing the P120. Some people, including myself, aren't that impressed with the P140 based on its specifications. However for your needs, it may be worth considering.
