I'm looking at buying a new DP. After reading about the Kawai CA71, the Roland HP207 etc. I found the new Roland DP-990. From the non-complete specsheet, this promisies tobe an excellent piano, with capabilities very similar to an HP207: keyboard, tone generation an effects. It almost sounds too good to be true. I plan to use the DP with high quality monitors ( KRK's). I've read a bit here on the DP-990, but was hoping for more input from the forum members. What is your opinion?

I guess the Roland DP-990 would be described as a compact piano due to it's minimal footprint, I discounted it when I was searching for a DP due to it not having a flat area to rest my laptop on, essential these days IMO, it was also very expensive compared with other compacts on the market. Having said that, it's specification is very impressive.
