Greetings!!!----You've been a refuge and a resource to me this past year, so I decided to join up. Anyway, I have delicate(lightweight)hands and forearms and own a casio px-200 and had two previous casios. The actions are nice but too heavy!!! I'm ashamed to say that I like the yamaha GHS action. My question is of the two, should I get a YDP-160 with GHE action, or the YDP-140 with the GHS??? Where I live I can't try either out first. HELP!!!!

it's up to you. if you like GHS action (assuming you have tried it), then get one with it.

Thanks, signa----I didn"t expect much(if any) of a reply to my well-worn question to you all. I guess I was just looking for moral support before clicking that mouse button and getting that YDP-160 with GHE action. I actually did try GHS on a YDP-635 and I liked the feel of it. My question comes down to, "How much heavier is GHE than GHS???" Well, I'm about to find out!!!! I'll let you all know how it comes out. Thanks~~~

How long have you had the PX-200? I've had one for about a year and the action has softened in that time.

Hello--------I've had my PX-200 for about four months now. How much did your PX-200 lighten-up??? I absolutely love the bell-like tone of this board, but find it tough for clean execution of long trills or embellishments due to the heavy key resistance. I really hate to get rid of it, but I've come to the point where I know I have to............I really need a lighter action. I loved the Roland PHA ALPHA II keyboard on the FP-4 I tried out, but I felt it was overpriced. So, I think I"ll go for that YDP-160.--Talk to you all later~~~~~
