I have a Casio PX-200 88 weighted keyboard that I wanted to MIDI up to my MacBook, using the USB cable instead of a MIDI interface cable. The manual said the driver that came on the CD was only supported for Windows/PC. This link however has a Mac OS driver for Casio keyboards. I downloaded and installed it and it works fine with my MacBook.

If you have a Casio keyboard and a Mac, try out the driver and see if it works for you

Works nicely with my Casio Celviano AP-500 with OS X 10.4.11 and OS X 10.5.

Great tenders, glad it works for ya. I like being able to just use the USB cable and I can avoid using my Tascam FireOne audio interface if necessary.

For some reason, Casio keyboards don't have OSX drivers on the website and I had to find this one to make it work

Hey Katt,

I have a Privia PX 200 as well. I tried downloading this driver and there was still no recognition between my Casio or the MacBook. Any suggestions as to how to make this successful?

Thanks,
mfreed
