Recording to external device on CA91?

I've got a USB port out the back of my Kawai CA91 and now would like to record my songs onto my laptop, then burn to a CD. Maybe even improve the songs before burning them.
What is a simple to use software that I can use on a Windows laptop?
and, maybe a silly question, but will my current laptop, with the normal Windows MS Suite of software be able to record anything from the piano?
Thanks.

4sCompany,
If you want to record the sound of your piano, then you need to use the line out or use a microphone and recorder set up. MIDI or USB just give you the notes that you play, not the distinctive sound of you keyboard. With the CA91, you will eventually want to go to a microphone so that you can get record the resonance from the soundboard.
Ideally, you want to go to line in on your computer, but most laptops do not have line in. I have used the mic input, which is not ideal, but it will work. Also, the soundcard on most laptops are not the best. I just purchased a PreSonus Firebox to get really good sound and low latency from my laptop. A major investment, but I would like to use some software pianos, so it will be quite useful.
For recording, see the What is Midi thread. Mahlzeit has posted some links to his how to record piano pages. Very good stuff. I also saw a link to some inexpensive sequencing and recording software with trials. I've used Sonar (Music Creator) and I'm starting to work with Cubase, and I like Cubase much more, but it is expensive unless you get it bundled with a device.
Many people use RedDotForever for recording MIDI and Audacity for audio. Both are free.
Have fun Rich

Thanks Dragon,
I'm able now to record what i'm playing using MS Sound REcorder with the laptop, doesn't sound so great, what with the kids yakkin' in the background. My laptop recognizes the USB Device IN, but I'm still having trouble recording directly from the piano "notes" as you say into the laptop. I'll need to troubleshoot a bit more.
