I just starting to learn piano, which DP should I choose between YPG 625 and YDP-S30?

the interesting thing on YPG 625 for me it have many feature like lot of sounds, USB connectivity to computer, backgorund music that can accompanying me to play (I mean when in a group band we need a guitarist, drummer and bassis, with YPG 625 its all can be played at the same time with the fature of layering right?, then the LCD display which can display Yamaha Education Suite.. but is it really help the beginner to learn piano? BUT it lacks in polyphony which just 32, if i'm not mistaken it doesn't support half dampler right? so the FC3 sustain pedal can't be connected? can it be connected with 3 pedals/LP-5 pedal?

on the otherside what make me interested in YDP-S30 is the looks, verry beauty, the 64 polyphony, the 3 pedals, but it lack of features, no LCD display, no accompany.

is it really affect the playing in the future if we don't have the high number of polyphony? the three pedals? need your help..

I have no pationate for waiting the new YPG 635..

The YPG-625 does not support either half pedal or the LP-5. You can use the FC4 for a more traditional pedal feel than the foot switch that comes with the 625, but the function is the same; on-off.

Both can layer 2 voices at once, but the 625 can also record up to 6 tracks, allowing you to stack layers.

The YPG-S30 would be the better choice for pursuing classical piano repertoires, but the YPG-625 has the S30 beat for broader use.
