Hi Copper, I just bought me a "brand new second-hand" P120 and I don't even have to turn up the volume to hear what's going on : the distorted sound is in the headphones as well ( both AKG 271 and Senheisser 600 HD) , even at low gain but only starting when playing fortissimo. There are other issues as well : B6 is false (1 of the 3 strings was more than probably out of tune when they sampled it)and Yamaha's attempt for a tempered tuning fails 'cause only F5-F6,G5-G6,G#5-G#6" have the "tempered approach"(at least I hope that's what they we're trying), the others don't .This makes for an unnatural playing-experience in the high register . Hoping to find similar reactions and a" a solution" I found your post and immediately registered. I only see you're post so I'm wondering: did you get any reaction at all back then, did others have similar experiences, is there a way I can see their replies, does Yamaha know? Sorry for my English, I'm Belgian (So Dutch and mostly French over here) THX, JM
