Wanted to get an opinion on Digital Grand pianos.Looking for a nice piece of furniture that could play assorted music for enjoyment and background. But want to learn piano and saw the Roland and thought having had only little piano knowledge that this might be fun way to learn, and have quality sound.Quoted 20K, I can get an Essex GP with pianodisc player for about same, but thought this easier to learn? Anyone please help.

Roland kr17 is fantastic and it's price reflects that. It also has the ability to play like a player grand piano. Moving keys and all! Kawai makes a very nice one too. It's called a CP205 and has real wooden keys. It has an internal c.d. burner and can record up to 16 tracks with vocals!
The Kawai will cost substantially less. Both have fantastic features and sounds.
