A few reports are showing up on the other forum from some FP4 owners complaining that their black keys are developing little clacking noises. The lubricating grease was not applied thoroughly enough on the front guide posts under the black keys. A similar problem that has occured in some Kawai ES4. Relubing the posts solves the problem.

Could it be temperature related (since Summer began) - heat could certainly facilitate lubrication slipping.

I opened it up and lubed all the front guide posts with Finish Line Teflon Grease. It eliminated all clacking noises. The action is very smooth and quiet now.
