This guy is selling a Yamaha P250 for over $1,000. If you read his fine print in the add, he says there are a 'few' problems with the item: " the buttons, keys, and sound do not work. Also, the top body casing is pulling away from the bottom body casing on the left side of the unit." See for yourself Scary eBay Yamaha p250

I would stay away from that one. eBay is a wonderful place to find a bargain, but what the big print gives, the little print takes away.

Yikes. That listing is a prime example of caveat emptor. Out of curiosity, how much does a WORKING P250 typically go for?

Looks like B2 is broken as well... A quick search on Google shows up $1900 for brand new PS250's. Still you'd think for that price they'd be kind enough to list the photos of the damaged areas, and better description of what doesn't work. Short of a tech who has access to Yamaha service manuals, I doubt they'll be getting any bids... This Yamaha P250 is an excellent keyboard. It has a true acoustic piano sound, 88 keys, weighted action and because it is electric, it never needs tuning. Not much use for tuning when all you can hear is clicking plastic.
