I just discovered this place yesterday and spent a couple of hours reading through the threads. I have decided to start taking piano lessons and I would have preferred a cheap accoustic but we move a lot due to my husband's job and the kids need their sleep so DP it is
I was hoping ppl in the know would help me out a little. The budget is $1000. I want a console. I had been looking at the Yamaha YDP213 or 223 but I hardly saw a mention of either in the 10 pages I went back. So now I think I want the Casio PX-800. Of course I need to go to the stores to check them out.
I'll be starting lessons in Feb since I'll be away for a couple of months. Should I not buy when/if I decide and wait for a better deal in Feb? Or do you all think thats pretty much the best price for now? (the PX800)
Oh also I went thru the classifieds today and saw an ad for a used CLP 120 for $1000. Is it worth taking a look at?
