Hi! I'm thinking of buying a new digital piano. I have a casio px-200, it's a good piano but the keys drive me crazy, the loud noise, the double hit on top, plus the crappy loose plastic sound they do when stricken hard... Anyway, my budget is up to 1600 dollars, maybe 1800. What digital piano do you advice me to buy? I heard the roland pianos are the best, along with some yamaha ones... but i don't really know the market so I'm asking for your help.

you can check out Yamaha YDP160, which is about $1300.

I really like my Yamaha CP33 and would buy the same model if I lost it. No speakers though, so you're on your own there. Also no recording, no rhythm, few voices, and heavy too. Those things are fine with me because I need to focus on learning piano rather than fiddling with gizmos. The CP33 makes a great piano and sounds better than anything with internal speakers in my opinion.

Roland FP4/FP7 would be my choice if I were ever to upgrade from my Casio.

I've tried Yamaha 625, Kawai EP2, Roland FP-7.

Went with FP-7 and very satisfied.
