Most of the digitals have this problem when used as a controller.

I also believe the PX-200/800 series now have finer velocity control, meaning there are over 255 steps instead of the usual 0 to 127. This must be then converted to a standard midi signal outside of the host keyboard.

Internally, the casio PX-200/800 has 256 levels of velocity touch response, but for midi purposes uses 0 to 127: The latest Privia offering, the PX-800 and PX-200, achieves a more natural grand piano sound with the "Triple Element AIF Sound Source,”* which uses a filter circuit capable of better acoustic reproduction, as well as a high-performance touch detection system (256 steps, double the steps in previous models) for much more sensitive expression of musical dynamics

Come on guys, please let me know if your PX200 or PX800 can transmit all midi velocities!
