Has anyone tried this stage piano yet? If you did, what did you think of it compared to other stage pianos you have played?
And lastly, does anyone know if it's being sold at GC or SA? Maybe I could stop by for a test drive.[/b]
Hi,
If you search Promega 3 on the Keyboard Corner Forums at Music Player
HERE you will find many threads.
FYI: the Promega 3 has been discontinued but the Promega 2 is still a current product as are the pRP700 and pRP800 which are all DRAKE powered instruments. The Promega 2 has exactly the same acoustic piano and vintage keys sound banks as the Promega 3. The pRP series has the exact same Steinway and Fazioli acoustic grand pianos and the Rhodes, Wurlitzer and Clavinet as the Promega series in a less editable and more affordable design.
I am sorry but GC/SA does not carry Generalmusic products. However since you are in LA,
Pierre\'s Fine Pianos[/b] is the authorized Generalmusic dealer in that area. I just spoke to Pierre a couple of days ago and he does have a Promega 2 in stock, although someone was stopping in to try it out so it may be gone. Give Pierre a call and tell him I sent you. He is a very nice guy and will treat you right. Also,
Sweetwater Music[/b] is an on-line retailer of Generalmusic Professional Products.
As for comparison to other brands, that probably wouldn't be appropriate for me to respond to that question. I would like to invite you to view the video demos that are on our website since they will give you some insight to the features/benefits of the DRAKE/Physical Modeling technology.
