Hi, I dont know if this is the right place to post this but maybe somebody might have the same problem as I do.

I have a clp 115 yamaha clavinova (bought it this summer). Everything was fine until 1 week agowhen i was playing, then I noticed this weird like clicking noise when playing. So I turned the power off, then I played some of the black notes and the resonance sounds is there even when the power is off. It seems that when some of the black notes hit that rubber thinga above the notes, it resonates on it and it does that weird clicking noise. Not all the black notes do this though. When i put my finger on the the rubber band or if I lift it a bit, the clicking noise stops. I called the shop where I bought it and the technician said that there might be something stuck inside. The shop is super far from my place and I dont have a car to bring it there just for something that might be simple.

Id be most grateful is somebody could help me with this.
Thx a bunch

I'm sorry but I don't know anything about the mechanism of a digital piano.
But since your piano is still under warranty the shop should send a technician to your house (free of charge).
They can't expect that you just put your piano in you car and drive to the shop can't they?
If I had problems with my digital the shop should send someone over to my house.

Call the shop again and ask them to send someone.

Yamaha contracts its service work to independent technicians, so there may be one closer than your dealer. I would think there would be several such in a city the size of Montreal.

In any case, it's a warranty issue and as such it's the dealer's responsibility to get someone to your home to fix it. If he's not being helpful, the Yamaha web site may list independent service technicians in your area, or you can call their technical support number.

all right
Thanks a lot, I'll call the shop. It's just that I could understand that they don't have enough technicians to send them to my neighbourhood. I live in Montreal but still in the East of the Island so it is pretty far from the rest.

But when I bought the piano I only have the receipt of the shop, I didnt get some kind of warranty with Yamaha. So do I call Yamaha and like...How do I prove I actually bought it lol . I know it sounds like a dumb question
