Hi everyone,
I have posted on the piano forum before, but not on the DP forum before, so a warm hello to everyone! I have 3 kids, 1 who is quite advanced at 12 yo and another, 7 yo who is rapidly catching up. My youngest is 2, but will start when he's around 4. Anyway, we have an Estonia grand that we are very happy with, but we are looking for a keyboard that has a good piano-like feel and sound, esp for my 7 yo and the baby when he starts. They will use this piano as a secondary piano when one of the sibs are practicing on the "main piano". I don't know where to start, but my price range is around $1500 or less. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I am very happy with my Yamaha P-80. I also have an acoustic grand as my main piano.

It was a shade above $1k when I bought it and is very portable and has decent weighted keys. The benefits of being able to practice in "privacy" and silence is well worth it.

You can find a great variety of under $2000 DPs in a decent music store. The local Sam Ash has several portables and about a dozen furniture-style Yamaha and Kawai models. IIRC, they're all within your stated price range.

And in the "stage" section of the shop, they also have a variety of DPs (Yamaha and Roland), some of them in your price range.

The local Guitar Center has a smaller selection of Yamaha and Kawai units.
