Is it as nice as it's brethren the FP-5 and FP-3? From what I've seen it is going for $1300 as opposed to the $1100 I can get the FP-3 for? are its features worth the extra bones? Thanks,

Ryan

I haven't found a good overview of the specs (the Roland website is lacking in this department, IMO), and haven't been able to play around on one yet.
However, I'm looking forward to checking one out as soon as someone around here gets one in.

From what I've seen it seems that the main "improvement" is the addition of onboard speakers (which to me personally is nothing special, but for some it's a nice addition).

The action is very light, almost like what they call "semi-weighted".
