Any thing for the above, something that comes close to my teacher(who is migrating) \:\( teaches theory and technique nicely, scold me when I do wrong ;\) and will allow me to appear for the ABRSM Grade 3 practicals(for now).

hmm... I'd suggest finding another 'real' teacher! A PC program just won't be as helpful.

Seroiusly I am finding it difficult to get a teacher therefore could anyone recommend a decent software.I have a digital with MIDI and a computer

I don't think there is any really good software for learning the piano, currently out on the market. If you can't find a decent teacher, you may consider looking into one of the many piano book programs (Alfred's come to mind) available.

For more opinions/options on this, you may want to post a question in the "Adult Beginner's" forums.
