Hi,

I bought a Casio PX-320 today, my first digital keyboard (my first keyboard purchase too), and I was wondering if anyone knew some starter MIDI software I should use. I don't want to spend much money at this stage, as I would like to learn about MIDI before spending money on software.

I'm using the USB connection at this stage, as I don't have a separate audio card yet (also why I see no point in spending money on good MIDI software)

The driver seems OK with Vista, I just need a program to detect and record from the device.

Any help is appreciated, and yes, I used the "search" function before making a "n00b" post, so apologies if I didn't include the right keywords but I didn't spot an answer in the couple of relevant links I clicked.

Regards,
Daniel

Thanks for your help, that software worked very well for what I wanted. As for the videos, it was interesting watching where he progressed from that beat.
