My M&H Concert Grand was totally remanufactured from the ground up, but in the process of doing so, the rebuilders either covered up, or never had the serial # available to display. Consequently, I have been trying to find out its original year of manufacture, but have had little luck so far. I have contacted Marian Flood, from M&H, and given her the only numbers that do appear anywhere on the piano....the factory assigned part number that helps them to piece the piano back together as it goes through different operations in the factory. The # is 766, and appears on several parts. She told me that the only person that has the cross reference books and intact logs of all that went on at M&H, before the bankruptcy and reincarnation of the company, is a man by the name of Paul, who is long retired. She said if I was patient, she would eventually ask him to check the cross reference #'s, but that was six months ago!!! Come on....can it be THAT difficult? I know it is a long shot, but does anyone else have access to a means of finding this out or expediting this process? The piano, for all intents and purposes, is brand new in every respect, but it would still be nice to know its history and background prior to its transformation. Thanks, in advance, for any help you can give.
Dan
