Is there something I can buy to cover the keys (not entire piano) of my P140?

Dust is attaching itself to the keys and I don't want to constantly wipe them all of the time.

i think that Yamaha is selling a plastic cover for P90/120 which would apply to P140 (since my teacher has one for his P90), but i'd rather make my own using some solid and thick fabric.

I went to fabric store and had them cut me a piece of black fabric that I would describe as felt, although that's not what they called it. I lay it on the keys.

When I had a P140 i used to protect the keyboard with the rectangular piece of velvet of the same size of an 88 keys keyboard that every acoustic piano dealer has (sorry i don't know the exact english term). Normally you get one free with a piano or you can buy one for 10-20$.

Hi Tuan,

If your still looking for a key cover, I've got an extra one of the felt covers Yamaha provides with their acoustics.

PM me with your address and I'll send it (no$)

Cheers,

Thanks for the advice everyone! I'll keep all it all in mind when I someday buy a real piano and need a cover. \:\)

And thanks torakusu/Alden. You are a true life saver!
