Casio CDP100 questions

I currently have a Yamaha P-140 but I'm going to sell it because I need some cash to help pay for my new acoustic and I can still get a decent amount of money for it.
I still would like to buy something cheap such as a CDP100 or even a touch sensitive keyboard. If I can tough it out for 3-6 months financially I can keep the P-140 or go ahead and sell the P-140 and buy one of the new PX-200 or PX-800.
I'm considering buying a CDP100 for practicing. I've seen the CDP100 on sale for under $300 at times and was wondering if it's decent? I know it's an older model with an older sound chip. I've tried the PX-110 and PX-310 and thought they were good but I don't know how they compare to the CDP100. Here's what I need.
- Something for completely silent morning practice - MIDI controller in case I want to use better piano samples via computer - Decent action and onboard samples. It doesn't have to be great or even good just decent enought to practice with it - Something that I can record with
Any other suggestions or advice?

I don't think selling your P140 for money and buying a cheaper piano is going to be worth the effort.
The CDP100 has a nice action but the sound is not good and I doubt if you'll want to put up with it. However the CDP100 does make an excellent midi controller and you could use it with an inexpensive softsynth piano such as the M-Audio KeyRig. I've tried this combo myself and was fairly impressed (assuming you already have the computer or laptop to do this).
I played a PX-200 for the first time yesterday... it's much better than I expected and far better than the CDP100. Really it has a very good action and sound and I would readily use it on stage. I can't wait to try a PX-800.
