Does anybody know if the CLP 170 has auto-accompaniments and if so, how to get it working?

The FAQ section on the Yamaha website maintains it's possible and reads as follows: "If you wish to simply enjoy the piano but still use music data, your best choice is the CLP-170/M/C/PE. It offers accompaniment from music data, but no guide feature".

I believe the CLP170 does have a disc drive, but I may be mistaken. If it does, then Midi accompaniments would be available for particular songs, but no generic style accompaniments.

Yes the clp does have a floppy drive and you can play midi files but it does not have auto accompaniments not even on disks.
