Hi all,
I have decided to buy a Clavinova CLP-170PE(the polished black one). Today I went to the store and they told me that there could be the possibility for me to get a used one, 6 months old, but didn't tell me for how much. My initial idea was to buy it new, but now I am tempted...but then again, I guess it depends on the price! So my question is: how much do you think would be a fair price to pay , in Germany, for a 6-month old CLP-170PE? What sort of percent discount would you expect? Also, is there anything special I should be careful about, in general, when buying a used digital piano?

Thanks,

Anna

When buying used, price depends on condition.

First off, make sure everything works (all the inputs and outputs).

Next, do a detailed inspection of the "used digital" in question. Make sure that all of the keys/sounds work. Look for consistency in the keyboard (you don't want any damaged keys).

Find out the reason it has been sold.
