I was looking around for a DP for the last couple of weeks. I need to choose between Kawai CP-67 and Yamaha Clavinova CLP-220/230. I can get Kawai for 1562USD,CLP 220 for 1495 and 230 for around 2000. I need this for my daughter who just started her lessons. Looking for something that has the feel of acoustic piano, especially the feel of the keys. Please help me decide. I appreciate any advise.

i wouldn't consider CLP220, which is the lowest end Clacvinova and really doesn't have much to offer beside its look. CLP230 is a good one to start, but it's going to be replaced by CLP330 in coming months. for the same type of DP, you can check out new YDP160, which is a much better one than CLP220/230 in sound technology (except its GH action vs. GH3 on 230):

If you don't like the answers you have heard here, why not ask the teacher?
