Hi Everybody!
I´m thinking in upgrade my actual PX320 DP to something more versatile and with better sound, so the FP7 in consideration.
The point is, as I live in an island, is too dificult to find any of the the top digital pianos to play myself (the Casio was purchased blindly on line, not bad, I like the keys but the piano sound and internal speakers sucks...)
1. So, how good are the keys, I´m looking for heavy touch (like Yamaha Grands).
2. How many SMF could be readed thru a Pen drive?(I used to have a SonicCell, it only reads a maximum of 400 files, enough for me, but readed somewhere that FP7 only reads 99 files)
3. And finally, how loud is the internal speakers
The PX320 have 7w+7w that can´t delivers much power (it distorts passing half way volume knob, no bass at all)

I usually plays at small restaurants and little hotel areas.

I really apreciate any information!
Best Regards

I just bought the FP-7 online, so I'm sure you could get it shipped to you as well.

1. The keys feel pretty good. I actually have a Yamaha G3 right alongside it, and while I will always prefer the acoustic, the feel of the FP-7 is pretty darn good. You can adjust the touch between 5 levels of heaviness (or lightness for you half-full glass people :p ), so I'm sure you'll be able to find something that suits your tastes.

2. I have no idea as this is not something I've explored yet. I have it hooked up to my laptop, so I really don't have a need for the USB drive.

3. The internal speakers are sufficient for personal playing, but for a performance, I'm thinking you'll always do better with external speakers. I've not put the volume past halfway on mine (no need), but I'll try it out today and get back to you. The FP-7's speakers are each 13W, so almost twice of what your Casio has.

Just to let you know, my DP does have a buzzing inside when I play certain keys. A tech told me that there must be a screw that is loose and it vibrates with the vibrations caused by the speakers. He said it was minor to fix, and it is covered by the warranty. Apparently this is rather common with any DP with internal speakers.

Overall, I'm really happy with it.

Thanks Morodiene!
I also prefer an acoustic grand, but sometimes they aren´t available or are unusable... That´s the reason for the DP. I sometimes, use a backing track for some Jazz and pop tunes, just to offer a little variety and sometimes the like to dance.
I´m using my Ipod but the USB in FP7 is very good (as in SonicCell) but I don´t want to exchange pen drives during a performance, that´s the reason for knowing how many files can read the FP7.
Thank´s Again!

im really happy with my FP7 so far. I turned the volume up this morning and it sounded fine. (another thing I note is the sound samples are different if youre barely touching the keys or pounding on them....it sounds like a real piano).

also, small amps are quite cheap...it may be a better option but I think in a relatively small place the internal speakers should suffice.....but then again, I dont like loud music.

1. For me, I like the feeling of the keys but I know others may like the FP-4 or Yamaha better.

2.Good question, I have about 35 midi file on my usb drive. 400 files on the FP-7? the FP-7 have a simple interface no pointing device and browsing 400 files could be a pain in the.

3.The speakers are small and not very good, you can improve the sound with better studio monitor.
