No. The responses were correct in saying that is normal. I have seen that on other models besides just the Casios .

The chattering was alot worse. Certain keys rattled and you could still hear it with the volume at a pretty good level.

Thanks for asking.

Psa 33:1-3 ¶ Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

Ya think God would permit 88 strings?

To those of you with Casio Privia DP's. I have been looking for one myself for about the last 5 months and have played and sampled quite a few in that time. I noticed the PX-320 demo unit at the GC near me has chattering keys. By coincidence there is a Sam Ash also close by and they have an older PX-310 with very loose chattering keys as well. It is likely that the action will probably loosen up eventually even on the new models. It will probably happen as a result of use. I'm not sure what Casio will do about this as they tend to say it is normal. This has been posted before on this forum. If the dealer you bought it from is not agressive, Casio may refuse to repair it under warranty. You might want to contact Casio for an official response on this problem. I believe you can go to to their website and leave feedback via e-mail. They are supposed to answer you back in 24 hours.

galaxy4t, thanks for that suggestion, I do believe there is a little bit of a risk based on past PW threads that some warranty work may become necessary. Casio support
