My b key is not sounding as fast as my other keys on my Roland. It really is not sticking but it sounds off a little louder than the other keys and sounds odd when I am playing scales. Its the middle b.
I wonder if it needs cleaning as in take the keyboard apart and pull the contact?

What do you think?

Well, unless you are particularly skilled at such tasks, I would recommend taking the Roland to your local dealer and asking the opinion of a professional servicing technician.

Kind regards,
James

I have had that problem not with one but 15 notes now, It started with one and now theres a lot more, I have taken the keyboard out to see where the sensors are and cleaned the sensor board and it didn't fix it, so i'm thinking you have the same problem, but i think you might need a new sensor board replaced, thats the only thing i can think of, I only taken mine apart because the warranty was up so had nothink to loose, anyway i hope you get it sorted soon as i know how stressing it can be. my piano is the Roland HP237RE

Thank you for the sugestion. Right now I would worry about putting my keyboard in the mess I call my van..excuse to clean the beast. I was thinking maybe the 2 cats may have messed it up. It is from the 80s so its out of warranty. Guess I will call guitar center tomorrow.
