i have YPT 310 keyboard and i recorded couple pieces on it. Can i transfer those recordings to computer ?

I never took song data off the piano myself but there may be two ways to get recordings off of the instrument.

1) MIDI to USB interface and record midi data to a computer. You would then need to turn this MIDI data into an audio file to share with others.

2) Headphone output to computer audio input which would record the actual sounds the piano is making when you play back the file. Personally, I don't think the piano itself sounds all that great so the first option may be better depending on what software you process the MIDI file with.

Just be sure if you go the MIDI to USB interface route that the product you choose has drivers for the operating system your computer has.

You might also be able to ask some of the other forum members for help turning your midi data into audio and that might be a good way to test out various virtual piano options without having to buy any software.
