does anyone here recommend the korg C 4500 digital piano, there are also the korg SP 200 and Sp 500 keyboards...do these keyboards have the same quality (touch and sampling) as the digital concert piano ( C 4500). How does korg digital pianos compare to the clavinovas (CVP and CLP), i don't care about any technologies in them all i want is the best resistance touch and good sampling. I found a new C 4500 for $1600, is that too little for a good digital piano (since i know ones for more than $4000 exist - is that for the additional technological innovations or because there are better actions and samplings in them).
do the action and sampling get better automatically if it's a digital piano and not a keyboard (lik the SP's).

does anyone since the last posts about the Seiler EliteTrainer got to try one out? how does if feel compared to the korg and clavinova.

does do the seiler acoustics compare to other german pianos like steinway and the austrian boesendorfer.

The Seiler Elitetrainer is no longer in production. See my May 27, 2002 post on this forum.

I ordered a Yamaha GranTouch without actually playing it. My decision was based on past recommendations and reviews on the net. Now that the Seiler Elitetrainer has gone out of production, the Yamaha GranTouch seems to be the only digital piano to use actual grand piano action, although the Kawai website makes similar claims for ane or two of their high-end models.

Good luck with your search.

jpb, I ordered from Yamaha, Japan, through the largest (there are only a few) authorized Yamaha distributor in my country.

Do you have it in your home now?
How does it feel (sound and action)?
Regards.

German, I ordered the Grantouch based on recommendations and reviews I found on the net, without actually having tested it out myself, since no showroom has it in my country. (So, I like to live dangerously! laugh ) I placed my order about a month ago and ETA is about 3-5 months from now, so I won't know how it performs until it arrives. If you're interested, do ask me again in a few months.

I came across one of those Yamaha machines in London last fall. Played it for a few minutes, and for the life of me can't remember what it felt like. I must be getting old.
