KM200 - Keyboard Monitor Amp

"Hartke finally gives the keyboard player some much-needed attention with this powerful full-range, 2-way professional monitoring system. Sonically, keyboards and electric basses are similar in many ways. We found that our legendary aluminum cones do for keyboards exactly what the do for bass: Namely pump out crisp, rich, beautiful tone"

200 watt, 4 channel keyboard amplifier
Innovative Kickback™ 2-way enclosure
15" aluminum cone woofer
1" titanium compression driver
8 stereo inputs (4 channels) and 1 Mic input
7-band graphic EQ
Independent Local, PA, and Headphone bus section

Anyone had any experience with this keyboard amp?

Considering getting one, haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Hartke makes great sounding bass amps. I'm curious to hear this one.

I'm bumping this topic because I'm curious if you've had a chance yet to try one out. Their bass amps are killer. I may be in the market for another portable amp (my KC150 is permanently housed at a bandmate's house where we rehearse frequently).

Anyone else tried one?

I bought the KM200 (to play my Hammond XK-3 through).

Love it!

LOTS of good clean power, solid bass with no distortion, nice clear highs, and a full mid-range.

I'm running my Yamaha P-80 and Hammond XK-3 through it and it handles both at the same time with no problem.

The room I have everything in is small (Piano World office, only about 10x10) so I can't go past 4 without shaking the walls.

Can't wait to try it in a bigger venue :-)

Thanks for being the guinea pig. I can't wait to hear your opinion of the amp when it's taken to "11" (or are Marshall amps the only ones that go "one louder").

I'm particularly interested in how well it can handle pianos cranked very high, as this has always been the shortcoming of every keyboard amp I've owned.
