Hello all,

I've recently purchased an acoustic upright piano, so my digital piano must go. I'm thinking of selling it on eBay, as I've seen several of my same model going for fair prices. My question is, what's the best way to ship one of these? I was thinking Fedex or UPS, but when I punch in the weight and dimensions, their site says that they won't ship it. I know Fedex has a freight service too. The dimensions are approximately 57"x22x35 and the weight is 137 lbs. This is a full-size Casio digital piano (model number AL-150R if anyone's interested). Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Also, if you're interested in this particular piano, please feel free to PM me.

you can ship it through UPS as well, but at extra cost since it's over 70 pounds. i work there and we get a lot of 100-130ish pound packages for industrial shops (things like car parts, machinery, steel piping). it definitely won't be cheap tho, which kind of defeats the ebay idea.

maybe try running an add in your local papers, or posting flyers at your music stores.

if i had to guess, i'd say shipping on something that heavy will run you about 150 bucks.
