OP Larry Larson 500 Post Club Member Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 992 Carmel, Indiana	I have a chance to buy a 2 year old Yamaha S 90 for $1K but I'm also looking at a new Yamaha MM8. Good piano sound and keyboard touch are important to me, but I also need the synthesizer part to add instruments to songs I write. Any thoughts about the differences between these 2 machines? With it you have a much more broad sound bank, and unlike the mm8 (Mini Motif), you can actually SYNTHESIZE the sounds. I had an S-90 and was very happy with it. Great touch and piano sounds as well.
