Hate to do this. Am a member at cvpug but have recently been unable to post/reply although I was able to do this prior to making some profile changes. Have been trying for over a week now to get re-established but have been unable to do so. Have been trying to unsubscribe and start over but have not been able figure out how to do this. Have not seemed to be able to establish contact through the webmaster etc. Have not made any changes to my security system etc. Was wondering if anyone on this forum who belogs to the cpvug could somehow act as an intermediary and get some info. on how to get reactivated. Heavens forbid, I dont' think I have been blackballed or anything like that. Thanks

Did you change anything on your PC? Programs that prevent pop-up ads and spyware can disable your ability to log on to or post to boards like cvpug. It's more likely that than something you changed on the site.

If all else fails, try creating a new profile for yourself on cvpug.

Jim,

Have not really changed anything on the computer. Suspect the same things would apply to posting here. Have tried changing my profile and re-submitting but nothing. If I try to re-subscribe under a different name etc. I get rejected because there is already an account with my e-mail address. I'll try the profile thing again. As I said, I was able to post/reply but then it went sour. Thanks.

Jim

Re-entered my e-mail address (for about the umpteenth time) and that seemed to do the trick as it got me reactivated. Thanks.
