Getting ready to upgrade to a full 88 keys. I am an adult beginner, but dedicated to learning, and this purchase will have to last me for years.

I have tried a CLP 130 and it feels great and I like the specs. I have compared it to a YDP 223 on paper but can't find a YDP to actually tryout.
Is the CLP 130 worth the $1000. more?

Does someone out there have any advice?
Thank you.

To me, CLP130 is better in finish and name , really. I won't waste $1000 just for that! I tried YDP223 and it has good feel too. Cos, you need to judge resale price(if you gotta) More expensive one means greater depereciation in the world of digital piano since they evolve so rapidly like personal computers.

YDP223 is the same as CLP120, a lower grade of CLP130. if you do want to keep it for more years, buy CLP150/170 instead. CLP170 is the best of the CLP series, but you could always settle for the lesser CLP150.

btw, PF500 is like CLP150 but without cabinet and with less powerful speakers, so that it is cheaper. nevertherless, it is a good option to consider.
