Yamaha DGX620 versus Korg SP250

Hi
Can anyone offer some advice about this... I want to buy a digital piano (about £450, about $800 I guess) and both the Yamaha DGX620 and Korg SP250 come at around this price. The Yamaha looks nice and has lots of bells and whistles the my kids would enjoy (I probably would myself), but is only 30 note polyphonic (Korg is 60 note). The Yamaha (in my opinion) looks better too, but I suspect is an inferior sound and keying.
Has anyone experience of both of these to make a comparison? I'm also concerned that the possible teacher for my daughter might be a bit reluctant to teach on a real piano, and the Yamaha is verging on the electronic keyboard given all the buttons.
Prehaps anyone knows of an even better product in this price range (bear in mind I'm in the UK).
Thanks for any help.
