ROLAND RD300 Rhythm set

Somebody knows how to set a specific rhythm fast?
I mean, there is a sequential code, and if you like to have 176- you got to press from 1.
Probably there is a fastest and reasonable way to set it.

The only trick I know of is to press and hold the "Dec" button while you are already holding the "Inc" button to make the numbers increment faster.

On the RD-700SX, once the beats-per-minute number is selected, the Tone Select buttons can be used for direct numeric entry (followed by ENTER key). I have no idea if the RD-300SX does this.

That feature is not available on 300SX and that's the only thing i worry about among the differences between 300SX/700SX.
