Hey All, I have been looking like CRAZY for a good Keyboard with Excellent piano sounds and feel to gig with. I'm a singer/songwriter piano player looking for something with at lease 76 or 88 keys, weighted and good piano sounds, and need one ASAP for a gig coming up. I have been looking used and new, used mostly because it fits my budget. Being only 18 with not a lot of money I was looking in the $400-$500range max. and was hoping to at least get something with it(stand, case, chair, pedal, etc..) Can Anyone help, PLEASE!!! ) Thanks so much, Please respond or e-mail me! Peace out, Melissa

Melissa,
The Yamaha P120 is what you need. Great piano sound and feel, 88 keys, only 40 lbs. But it's $1200. Is there a Sam Ash near you? They often offer 12 months same as cash. If you can get a credit card with them, you can swing the deal - get a great piano and have a year to pay it off. Just my suggestion.

Giving your situation, consider Casio PS20. Elegant looking(Yes, it does matter when you perform live) and nice feel and sounding too. Many sell for around 595 new and you can get open box item for around 499. You may go to musical instruments shops and nagotiate floor model for reasonable price including stand and pedals.Suzuki SS90 is another affordable yet nice digital piano too. You can test play it at many piano dealers.

Cool, Thanks for the suggestions! As far as Casio goes, it is in my price range but I've heard some bad stuff about Casio's long term, like they can break, etc...?? I've been looking used mostly cause it fits my budget and I can get a better keyboard used than a new one that isn't as good. I've looked on Craigslist and Recycler.com Any other websites with Keyboards for sale??? Thanks, Melissa

Hi there, I checked craiglist.com. Only thing I can find decent is Yamaha S08 which is 750 including bench and stand. That may be the one you are looking for. Contact them and nagotiate to see if you can get better deal. Try to find Roland FP2 or FP5 digital pianos also. They sounds good to me. Around 500.. you can get Yammy P80 or P60 used one but they are not that rich in sound compared to S08.P120 seems popular and you can not get it around 600 unless it is a broken one(like.. keys).

Hello, For you, I suggest the Yamaha P60. Great Acoustic Pianos and Action. Plus, it is very light and portable. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask, or post a message at these forums. P120Man

Mellisa, I'll sell you a PX-300 for 425, Less than a month old with the pedal and the midi conections. Cheaper and better than the best buy model.
